Maya Muratoglu (2007, Ankara) began playing the piano at the age of four and studied with Gamze Kirtil at the Music Preparatory Junior School of the Music and Performing Arts Faculty at Bilkent University in Turkey (2013-2017) on full scholarship. After moving to Vienna in 2017, she was first accepted to the International Summer Academy "Intensive Course for Highly Gifted Students" at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, and then to the "Enrichment Programme for Highly Gifted Students" at the mdw — University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She is in the class of Mag. Stephanie Timoschek-Gumpinger at the mdw and attends the Musikgymnasium Wien. In Turkey, she sang in the Ankara State Opera's Children's Choir, and in the Vienna KinderChor and the MädchenChor in Austria. Maya participated in masterclasses in Turkey, Italy, Austria, Japan, and the USA and received prizes, including the "First Prize" at the National and Federal Competitions of Prima la Musica (2021-2022-2023).
