A Million Possibilities: Solo Ocean Row 2017 is an advocacy and fundraising campaign to assist Ontarians who have an intellectual disability to be fully included in all aspects of community. Colin Sanders is rowing across the Atlantic Ocean to support the Community Living movement. In December, Colin will travel 4,000 kilometres – or 1million oar strokes - because he shares our vision of a world where people who have an intellectual disability belong, have equal rights, and are valued and respected. Colin knows this challenge personally because his son, Jeff, has physical and intellectual disabilities. Community Living Ontario’s member organizations are part of this journey too. They are hosting stationary rowing and rowing/dragon boat racing events across Ontario (May to October, 2017) to raise awareness and funds that will remain in their community and support Colin’s incredible journey.
