Welcome to my world of movement and creation. I am Yeri Anarika, a dance artist born in Mexico and based in Berlin and the Uckermark (North Brandenburg). With more than 25 years of international experience, I share my passion for the art of dance in connection with other arts as a performer, creative director and teacher. My passion is to set creative processes in action through dance, using contemporary themes in order to better understand the world in which we live and to achieve a sensitive understanding of our world. I lead my own dance association "UMtanz which aims to bring the art of dance closer to the people and I often work as a choreographer and workshop teacher with art universities, schools and professional dance, opera and theater companies, as well as initiating and guiding projects for cultural education and projects in the community.
