The Community Arts Resource Centre (CARC) is a Community Interest Company dedicated to providing creatives with the equipment and resources they need to run performances, events and activities. CARC offer a comprehensive range of equipment for hire at very competitive rates, including costumes and props, sound equipment, staging, theatre lighting, marquees and more. If you’re an individual or creative group, we’re here to save you the hassle of choosing, sourcing, buying, storing, testing and repairing your own equipment. Most of our hires are 'dry hires' i.e. you collect, set-up, run and return everything yourself. However, we can usually arrange for an experienced technician to do this for you if necessary for a small fee. Hosted by Arts Gateway MK at their premises in Kiln Farm and serving the entirety of MK and surrounding areas, CARC has the flexibility to help with your needs and schedules.
