From singing as a child soloist with Tzlil V’zemer in New York to leading roles in operas like La Bohème and Carmen, his path has spanned the worlds of cantorial music, opera, and cross-cultural performance.
For over two decades, he served as Chief Cantor at Sydenham Shul in Johannesburg, achieving iconic status in South Africa’s Jewish and musical scenes. He’s performed worldwide has shared the stage at events like the Beijing Pop Music Festival and New York Fashion Week (2024).
Today, Yudi tours internationally with his powerful solo shows, including Exodus and High Holiday musical experiences, combining music, storytelling, and deep Jewish spirituality.
