Your Painted Smile band was "born" at the end of the summer 2012 due to the need of Elias Avdikos (guitar), Antonis Papadopoulos (guitar), George Papathanasiou (bass), Chris Poulias (keyboards & programming) and Kostas Gklinavos (drums) for music expression and creation. Through countless rehearsals, the band members combined their experiences and influences, but also shared their emotional world to each other, thus creating a series of musical pieces. The listener can distinguish overt influences from the English & American rock scene, with post & alternative rock elements, combined with the melodic melancholy of Manos Hadjidakis, Erik Satie etc. creating a blend of emotions that will hardly leave anyone unmoved.
