Constance Kuo-Yuan Lee (黎國媛) is a leading Taiwanese pianist and professor at the Taipei National University of the Arts. She graduated from the Vienna University of Music and Drama, where she studied with professors Dieter Weber and Hans Graf. She was selected by German Maestro Wilhelm Kempff to study in his Beethoven Interpretation Course, studied in London with Alissa Kezeradze and participated in several Masterclasses with Russian pianists Stanislav Neuhaus and Dimitri Baschkirov. Over the years, she has given concerts in Canada, France, Germany, Austria, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. As a versatile artist, she has collaborated with Hong Kong City Contemporary Dance Company and Taiwan Cloud Gate Dance Company. In 2012 she released an album of her own improvisations including her original recordings for internationally-acclaimed Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-Hsien’s films "Three Times" and "Le Voyage du Ballon Rouge".
