The HomeGrown Live Music Festival began in 2008 as a celebration of live music in Kingston, and a fundraiser for the Joe Chithalen Memorial Musical Instrument Lending Library. Along with our thousands of volunteers musicians, venue coordinators, and partners, we've raised over $100,000 for Joe's MILL, and hosted over 1000 performances in some of Kingston's top music venues.
Homegrown Live Production’s mission is to:
- Facilitate community understanding and appreciation of live music
- Produce music festivals, showcases, and workshops
- Promote the community development of music and musicians
