Äulne is a french singer, flutist and composer who brings to life through her music some imaginary and colorful worlds. Nourrished by the influences of a family from many parts of the world (USA, Laos, Germany, England and France), and by her travels, she has developped a great interest for folk music and cultures. Groove, coming from her american heritage, is flowing through her music. She mix it with oriental moods, rythms, in an open minded spirit leading to transe. Her musical and spiritual quest is following the pathes of free jazz, of Alice & John Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders or Don Cherry, Steve Coleman, Meshell Ndegeocella and Magic Malik.
