Progressive Heavy Metal from South West England. Taking influence from both old and new Prog, Lunix are ready to begin a new chapter after a short break. Lunix is a progressive metal band formed in late 2008. We played live shows around the UK, mainly pubs and clubs but a few small festivals as well. We recorded a small showreel of clips of our songs, and subsequently invested in a small studio of our own, mainly due to the length of the songs - we would never be able to afford the studio time! We took a year off to learn how to use the studio, and experiment with our sound, and as of late 2013 began getting ready to begin anew, with fresh sounds, songs and ideas. We have just been selected to play on the Progressive Nation At Sea 2014 cruise by Mike Portnoy himself, and are looking forward to setting sail in a month's time!
