Lone Cairn have established themselves as worthy heirs to the classic rock and hard rock of the 70s & 80s with their critically acclaimed debut EP : Obsolete. Leonardo (lead vocals/lyrics) and Guillaume (guitar/music) deliver a fluid and diverse music that relies on catchy airs, powerful choirs and melodic solos. Despite their classical influences, Lone Cairn will surprise you by blending various elements of progressive rock into their songs. As for the lyrics, they draw inspiration from both literature and everyday life. The unspoken is omnipresent, leaving room for interpretation. Driven by their will to create, the duo works exclusively in the studio and will release two self-produced EPs this year : Music Of The Spheres, an ambitious progressive rock instrumental inspired by Dan Simmons' Hyperion Cantos, and Crossroads, the direct successor to Obsolete, which benefits from all the band's richness.
