Vet police officer 20 yrs service Through no fault of my own I recently became homeless I have PTSD don't use drugs, illegal substances have no criminal record Everything lost overnight due to circumstances system failures I’m documenting in real time to show what it’s like to end up with nothing not because of bad choices but cos life can change suddenly When PTSD is triggered it causes anxiety chest tightens up hard to breath it affects the muscles I'm diagnosed with Barratts disease it causes nausea vomiting sometimes with blood I had a severe PTSD attack and my mother accused me of doing drugs she kicked me out 3 months later she admits its not drugs & asked what's PTSD this was after ruining my reputation and my good name with my family she now insists I should be homeless to get the help I need.
