In the spring of 2024 Andrew received a call from friend and longtime RLR supporter Adam Barringer of Champion Version. He was starting a new 7” label called Skew Note and enthusiastically pleaded with Andrew to record some new music. Feeling unable to revisit the creative process alone, Andrew enlisted the help of his lifelong friend, the elusive producer Jonathan Wolf, who pushed him to experiment with the studio itself as an instrument. This sparked an intense period of exploration and reflection, and resulted in the creation of ‘Prey/LV/Ears’, an album conceived in three parts - 3 being the magic number (holy trinity; law of thirds; three-act structure).
