Kerry Smyth is a singer/songwriter from the West Midlands, UK. She was brought up in a musical environment, singing and performing since the age of 4. Kerry has spent her lifetime gaining experience as a musician and songwriter. She started teaching herself guitar and piano, writing and recording her own songs at the age of 12, after being inspired by Dido's first album, 'No Angel’. Taking influences from folk and pop music, and artists such as Kate Rusby, Gabrielle Aplin, Lucy Rose and KT Tunstall, her songs are written from personal experiences and come straight from the heart and soul.
