Ya’at’eeh, I’m Aaron Tsosie, the person behind the camera 🎥
Indigenous Event Recordings began in Arizona as a one-man project filming pow wows, parades, and cultural celebrations across the Southwest. What started as a way to preserve community moments has grown into a mission to share Indigenous stories from every corner of the world 🌎
From the drums of the Navajo Nation and the Bird Songs of California to the Hula performances I’ve filmed in Phoenix, each gathering tells a story of resilience, identity, and connection. My goal is to honor these voices and show that Indigenous culture is still alive, strong, and evolving.
I travel every weekend to record and share these stories for free here on YouTube, creating an archive for future generations.
If you’d like to support my work, you can find me on Venmo @imaarontoasty — every bit helps cover travel, meals, and gear as I continue sharing our culture with the world ❤️
Ahe’hee for watching and supporting this journey.
