Conductor + Producer Liza Grossman is the Artistic Director of Kaboom Collective, which offers artists commercial training in the Industry. She is the tour conductor for Styx + has worked with rock artists including Jon Anderson, Pat Benatar, Bootsy Collins, Melissa Etheridge, Ben Folds, Jefferson Starship, Jason Mraz, Graham Nash, Twenty-One Pilots + Tommy Shaw, + with composers including Michael Daugherty, Tan Dun, Mark Mothersbaugh, Bernard Rands, Christopher Rouse, + Joan Tower. She has been a guest conductor for the Colorado Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, + Nashville Symphony. As a violist, she has performed, recorded, + toured with artists including The Eagles, Kansas, Bernadette Peters + Yes. Liza is the founder of the Contemporary Youth Orchestra where she served as executive director + music director for over 2 decades. Liza has received 3 ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming, Young Audiences Sunshine Award for Excellence in Education, and The Cleveland Arts Prize.
