Michael Wayne Dill, born on July 4, 1969 in Tennessee... He didn't discover his passion for music and songwriting until his 9th grade year of high school after his family moved to Lynchburg, Virginia in December of 1983. After high school graduation in 1987 until 2003, Michael pursued a career as an electrical apprentice while performing as a singer/songwriter in few local rock and country cover bands. After a ten-year break from the music scene and songwriting, Michael made a comeback to music between 2013 and 2019 as a country rock songwriter/artist with the duo group Dill & Scott. They shortly disbanded in 2020 after winning the Duo EP of the Year award in Nashville. As a solo artist, Michael has received multiple nominations and awards from the Josie Music Awards. He has released seven albums, with two winning the EP Album of the Year award. Michael's music combines country, rock, and pop elements, and he recently signed with Salter Gann Universal Promotions & Management, LLC.
