Hi, I'm Marcus Barrick. An Author writing about the intersection of Process Philosophy, Cognitive Science, Buddhism towards socioeconomic systems change. These fields appear to be converging on a new socioeconomic system grounded in the processes of cognition and life itself. If we want a worldview, way of being, and economic system that preserves life on this planet, it must be in contact with the profound questions that ask what life is and what are the universal mechanisms of life at all scales. In so doing our communities and societies can effectively become an adaptive lifeform with collective cognition.
My aim is to establish a framework toward a Process-Oriented Economic System by seeing how we have mistakenly adopted a Product-Orientation. This systemic framework will uncover many relationships as we follow the Nobel Eightfold Path.
