Formed in Altoona Pennsylvania in 2021, Sweet Desire have slowly but surely been making their way up the ladder of contemporary rock and roll. For being seemingly born in the wrong generation (the oldest members being 19) they have taken what blues rock bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s have done, and taken it in their own direction. Taking these inspirations not only in writing their own original music, but the way they dress and their overarching image as a band (bell bottoms and platform boots included) is new, yet nostalgic. There is no better example than their debut single “Raspberry Joe Blues”. Recorded at Plymouth Rock Recording Studio in Plymouth Michigan. Sweet Desire are in the rock and roll hot seat not only locally, but up and down the east coast, and they don’t seem to be getting off any time soon.
