​The Columbia Civic Orchestra is a volunteer orchestra located in Columbia, Missouri, dedicated to providing enjoyment for its members and audiences with the presentation and preservation of high-quality symphonic music. We aim to achieve the following goals: to develop and inspire local talent in classical, orchestral, and chamber music; to bring together people of all ages to share art and friendship; to spread the love of music throughout the community; and to facilitate the presentation of other art forms, such as dance and choral music. Financial assistance for the CCO has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, the City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs, and the Sinquefield Charitable Foundation.
