XAVYR (formerly known as Imer Xavier) is a Honduran-American artist born in East Meadow, Long Island, New York, on May 20, 1996. Blending R&B with touches of reggaeton and pop, his music bridges vulnerability, faith, and real-life stories of redemption. He began his journey singing in church and later learned to play piano and multiple instruments. In 2014, after a car accident and a severe lung complication, doctors doubted he’d sing again—but through months of recovery and faith, God restored his voice and purpose. As Imer Xavier, he released several singles and projects, collaborating with artists such as Mikey A, Michael Pratts, and his songs like "Besos de Nutella" with Manny Montes and “Me Hace Falta” with Niko Eme became a fan favorite. Now signed to Soul Changing Music, an independent label based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, XAVYR enters a new era with his upcoming single “LESSONS.” Each song carries a message of hope and a reminder that God can do a lot with uncertainty.
