The Monday Night Club is a weekly social club for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We organise inclusive fun activities and social events and meet at Worcester Arts Workshop in Worcester every Monday from 7pm - 9.30pm. The Club was founded in 2011 by Laura Gill, who has learning disabilities and autism herself, so that she could meet her friends and have some fun. In 2015 The Monday Night Club became a Registered Charity in the UK, (Reg no: 1160646). In 2018 the club received The Queen’s Award. Project: Beat Street The Monday Night Club have a lot of creative and talented members. To show off their talents they have made 3 music videos - dancing and singing in the streets of Worcester, with some famous City of Worcester landmarks as the back drop. The project is funded by The Big Lottery, Awards for All, and is a collaboration with educational film makers C&T, African drum specialists Drum Love and dance therapist Cat Weagar.
