-- A written in the 3rd person bio, by Wayne Alex Smith :) Wayne Alex Smith blends a little country with ballad focused melodic pop. Wayne recently released "Country Ghost", and "Slow Dance Back". Country Ghost leans a little more to the county pop area, while Slow Dance Back is all love songs. Both albums have a 80's to early 90's vibe, all produced with "lo-fi" overtones in places, while being rich in harmony. Wayne spent 11 years in Los Angeles working on a number of different production projects, and had some success with an album called "Metro, m909" (90's electronica meets Led Zeppelin). College/public radio loved it :) He finally traded Hollywood for the beauty of the northwest, and worked as a carpenter and raised 2 beautiful girls. While working and being dad, Wayne spent every spare moment writing, and working on song ideas. He built a rustic off grid studio and decided to put the tools away, and take the music seriously. It's "now or never". So "now" it is.
