Olympias Music Foundation is an award-winning music education charity based in Manchester. We offer free, sustained and excepatiional one-to-one music teaching and instruments that put children and young people with their family first - with lessons delivered in the heart of their community. Our approach empowers young people to build their confidence and self-belief, feel excited about their future, and experience the lasting joy a musical life brings. The Olympias community music education model has been developed over ten years, with an aim to redefine how music education is experienced in the UK. Between 2015-25 we delivered over 42,000 free music lessons to young people with diverse backgrounds experiencing low income in Manchester, and more than 600 children and young people have taken part in Olympias projects.
