The birth of Soul Brass Band was by CeeLo Green's request: bandleader Derrick Freeman quickly assembled the perfect group for CeeLo’s music video, “Music to My Soul”. From that moment, Soul Brass Band’s all-star lineup formed into one of New Orleans’ new favorite bands, as well as at NN North Sea Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, Spiagge Soul Festival, Ascona, Tel Aviv, and more.
