Blending his passions for jazz, classical, and new age music, Wes Sparkes has developed original solo piano material that shows his artistry and virtuosity. His singles "Starting Here," "For Kari," and "Andrea" use pop harmonies with flashy technique while the full-length CD "Stream from Consciousness" explores ambient soundscapes through a series of lullabies and reflections. As a classically trained pianist and trumpeter, Wes studied at and graduated from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Growing up in the Cincinnati area, he competed in multiple international piano competitions, all-state festivals, and national summer programs on both instruments.
