Hello my name is Evan Frantz. I'm an American composer writing original solo piano works and ensemble pieces. Early influences to lots of classical and jazz repertoire have greatly shaped my compositional style. I write mostly short piano pieces that use a more song like melodicism and poetic approach, with the themes often recurring to the original. Somewhat reminiscent of romantic era piano works. I also like to compose lead sheet jazz style works. I've recorded lots of these songs with different ensembles throughout the years. I do all my own printing/publishing.
