VISTEL BROTHERS
Jorge and Maikel Vistel come from Santiago de Cuba (Cuba) in a family with an extensive musical tradition. Their father, Jorge Vistel, a trumpeter, introduced the brothers to the world of music very early. As teenagers, Jorge and Maikel became highly skilled at jazz improvisation and were soon recognized for their maturity and musicality. Separately each is outstanding, but together, the brothers' connection creates improvisational magic, beautiful ‘conversations’ between trumpet and saxophone. Jorge (trumpeter) and Maikel Vistel (saxophonist) has spent 20 years of artistic career in and out of the Cuba, giving the public sympathy and a strong positive energy on stage. Their music is based on trends of modern jazz and Afro-Cuban music. Vistel Brothers are emotional and passionate artists whose captivating live performances offer the audience a wonderful experience.
