SOP is a Christian band composed of Joshua, Jona Joy, Jireh, Jephthah, Joash, and Leo who originated from Bicol, Philippines. With a variety of genres, mainly progressive rock, they aim to influence & promote the transformation of a nation that starts from changed individuals and love for God through music and original compositions. The six (6) members are mostly professional teachers and two (2) of them are currently living in the US. They started playing together as a kids’ band in the year 2000, trained by their parents who were the band members of Sounds Of Praise where the band’s name originated. They were frequently invited to play in different events in the region and also joined some contests where they bagged awards.
