The Nimbus Ensemble is a fortunate cross between a classical chamber orchestra, embracing a broad range of compelling works from the past, and a new music group, tastefully engaging newer works, sometimes of novel instrumentation and presentation. We are committed to a high level of artistry and knowledgeable expertise as we approach our goal of becoming a vital and resonant thread in the tapestry of southern California's musical culture. Included in this mission is an appreciation of music as a living art. Accordingly we look forward to presenting and commissioning works from living composers as well as assisting younger music students through our educational component.
