Destiny Church began as a Bible study in 1977. In 1980, Steve and Trish felt that God told them to move to Ashby and start a church. The ministry bought a farmhouse on 13 acres near Ashby. People started coming to Christ and their lives were turned around. As the church grew, the farm house was filled to capacity. In the beginning, the church was named Country Bible Church. In 2011, to reflect more of who we are, the name was changed to Destiny Church.
