A personal indulgence, this channel is to encourage me to keep on with my creative passions - singing and making. I'm in my sixth decade and a very happy wife, mother, and grandmother who's also been fortunate to experience 'second chances'. I attended the Glasgow School of Art in my mid 30's and discovered I had 'the hands for clay', graduating from the Ceramics Department in 1997. Fast forward to 2018 when I joined the Glasgow School of Art Choir as a way of soothing - and challenging - my creative soul - and I'm totally hooked! I had a decent voice and sang well through my school years but developed 'stage fright' as a teenager. I don't have any formal training and don't read music; would love to take one-to-one lessons at some point. I'm also returning to my ceramics practice after working to support and promote artists, makers and communities and will post here...so added incentive to get back into the studio.
