June Fest is a community festival that takes place throughout the month of June in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Established in 2012, we are a committed local voluntary group striving to bring our community the best in Art, Theatre, Music and Family Entertainment. We are a platform for all local involvement, with community wellbeing at the forefront. June Fest has had an incredible range of musicians throughout the years such as Christy Moore, Andy Irvine, Donal Lunny, Luka Bloom, Wallis Bird, Damien Dempsey, Mundy, Jinx Lennon, Sive and A Lazarus Soul. Highlights often include the Yarn Bomb, Bands On The Bank, exhibitions by Kildare Art Collective and numerous projects and events in collaboration with Riverbank Arts Centre and Newbridge Library.
