News Broadcasting Service Relaunched back in 2008, ten years after the destruction of Raccoon City. RCN was brought back to broadcasting life to mark the 10th anniversary of Raccoon City News. 132 employees of RCN lost their lives after a reactor breach destroyed Raccoon City, which wiped out the entire population. Since coming back on air RCN has been covering the developing merge between Umbrella Corporation and Black Mesa Research Company. The merge will see the two companies' united. The contract is said to be worth $23 billon.
