Make Music Day PDX is an event for people who love music and the joyous sense of community it fosters. It celebrates music of all genres played by and enjoyed by people of all stripes. We join others around the world who also celebrate the Fete de la Musique, which originated in France in 1982. MMD PDX serves both audience and musicians. Musicians, amateur and professional, share their music on one day in June every year.
