MolanoMC or El Mola is a Cuban rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. At only 19 years old, he released the mega hit and iconic song "Quien Tiro La Tiza." The song won 1st prize at the Italian Salsa Latin Grammys. Its lyrics are cited in the Cambridge University Press. Together with other artists, he founded the popular band Clan 537, touring more than 23 European cities on their first tour. He became the first Cuban artist (and only second to date) to be signed by White Lion where he participated in the album "Mas Salsa Que Tu" alongside musicians from Fania All-Stars. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Oscar de Leon, Bacilos, La India, El Canario, Luis Enrique and Fanny Lu. He has performed at Premios Tu Mundo and Madison Square Garden. His other albums include Molano, The Arrival (alongside legendary producer Sergio George), which was prenominated to the Grammys and Latin Grammys, and Reunion de Padres. His next album, "Molano II," is due to be released in 2023.
