MUDDPIE MARTYRS a Lauri Valini Singh & FITNYC thesis film Lauri Valini is a filmmaker & musician based in Astoria, NY. My filmmaking focuses on capturing nonlinear storytelling through complex romantic relationships. This channel showcases projects from my time in college as a film & media student while simultaneously exploring my stylistic choices as I further my filmmaking career. Muddpie Martyrs is a proof of concept for my eventual feature film version of the story. Laurelei Laurelei is the solo music project of Lauri Valini. I am a self taught singer/songwriter & guitarist that creates indie psychedelic/ freak folk music with occasional experimental electronic songs. I aspire to use my discography & events to educate about music’s healing energies through EMDR therapy, mediation and birdwatching. I currently have a series “laurelive from my bedroom” where I perform new and unreleased songs to explain my music process & inspirations while documenting my journey with music.
