I'm Ariel, a software engineer with over 25 years of experience. I've worked on countless projects, leading technical teams and mentoring new developers. I love frontend programming, but I've also worked as a full-stack developer. What really drives me is being close to the user.
In 2016, I lost my vision completely. But that didn't stop me;
I've firsthand experience with the challenges that modern interfaces pose for people like me. This led me to start a new chapter in my career, focusing on accessibility. I continue to develop applications in multidisciplinary and distributed teams, but with a strong focus on promoting and advocating for accessibility at every step. As a blind person, a blind software engineer and a certified Web Accessibility Specialist, I bring a unique perspective to this work.
I'm a speaker, mentor, writer. I also host a podcast called "Web Accessibility For All," where I try to make accessibility knowledge easy to understand and even fun.
