Clacket Lane's influences derive from progressive Seventies rock with a modern contemporary twist. They have been described as both 'Roger Waters' love child' and 'Coldplay in the 1970's' and they proudly admit that their personal writing / performing styles are from being brought up listening to stadium bands like Pink Floyd & Led Zeppelin. It is their ambition to once more provide this country with a band that focuses on performance and to bring back the guitar hero that has been absent for so long.
