Since 2006, Gigalight started R&D and production of optical network devices, released 1G & 10G transceiver series and kinds of passive components; since 2010, Gigalight adapted to industrial changing, began major investment on R&D of 40G/100G optical interconnect technology. In 2014, while Gigalight high-speed active optical cables got commercial application by domestic major internet operator and e-commerce company, its cloud optical network product lines and cloud strategy became clear.
