I am learning to be a gardener not only in 1 climate zone but 2. We had a family garden for a few years about10 years ago. We had moderate success but life got in the way and I did not invest the time to learn and research how to be a better gardener. I now have spent many hours reading and watching YouTube videos. My son and I worked hard building beds, moving a lot of dirt, raising cattle panels, driplines, shade, starting seeds indoors, and planting in the beds. I watched his amazement when he was surprised how small carrot seeds are and how much force it takes to pull up radishes. But the time we have spent together working, planning, and talking has been priceless. We started this journey at Mesa, Arizona planting our spring garden and continued gardening as we moved to our summer jobs at Sprucedale Guest Ranch, Arizona in Zone 6a.
