Catching inspiration from blending funk & jazz, dance & electronica, hip-hop & r&b, latin & afro beat, and more, Pocket Change is a power trio that delivers a unique sonic journey that transcends the current conception of genre. From its inception, the group has focused on merging the improvisational nature of jazz into the rhythmic and melodic familiarities of dance music to create a soundscape for any occasion. Made up of keyboardist Johnny “Keyz” Hooper (of Sensi Trails, Kat Hall, Future Sexuals), drummer and keyboardist, Hunter S. Bragg (of Peach Cooler, King Julian, Sensi Trails, SeaPoodle) and bassist/multi-instrumentalist and producer, Hunter Hartmann (of The Skains, Mallow), the group is known to feature artists on various projects in an effort to the musical community together (see Garden Grooves).
