Thefatcatz are a 4 piece band without limitations. The members musical backgrounds are extremely extensive and eclectic, to say the least. This puts them in a unique situation where they can be completely at home sight reading classic jazz or even playing top 40's. However, they really shine when they step into their original songs. That's where you will feel an amazing mix of Blues, Jazz, Rock, Latin, and Fusion come to life. The mix of these four musicians is a joy to see on stage where they truly bring out the best in each others playing. The Fat Catz have a drive and creativity that is constantly pushing them to grow. If they are not playing a show, rehearsing together, or tracking their latest album, you can find them teaching their craft to the local up-and-coming musicians in the community.
