Retired FPS Addict • “Rusher”
Started gaming with my dad and older brother, watching them play shooters until 2007 when I finally picked up a controller myself. Learned the basics from family and local friends, then improved further by playing with more competitive players. That eventually pulled me into the COD sniping scene, and from there I expanded into multiple FPS titles and playstyles.
I tried content creation at one point, but I always preferred competing over showcasing. Clipping but not posting, perfectionism. 🥲
Over time, the rise of cheating and how the scene shifted took the competitive spark out of it. When the passion wasn’t there anymore, I stepped back.
Gaming surprisingly taught me a bit…coordination, communication, strategy, leadership, discipline, and how to build connections with people from all over.
Now I use those lessons in my daily life. The controller is still there if I want it, but it isn’t the center of everything anymore.
“Gamify reality instead.”🏆
