Makamanda is an influential East African rap group made up of three artists , Kamanda Bushi, Kamanda Pedeshee, and Kamanda Brown. Born and raised on the Kenyan Coast in the streets of Junda hood, the trio emerged as part of a new wave of young musicians who use hip hop as a platform to express the realities of ghetto life with honesty and confidence.
Their music reflect the struggles, ambitions, pain, hustle, and everyday experiences faced by many young people across East Africa.
