A photography film series made for photographers by photographers.
36 Xposures is a photo challenge that combines art and sport by challenging 8 photographers to test their photography skills under tight constraints. This fast paced challenge tests the wits, skills, and personality of each photographer and showcases the uniqueness of the craft.
Photography has traditionally been limited to a 36 exposure roll of film. With the introduction of digital photography, we have an unlimited capacity for shooting images as well as the ability to view our results immediately.
This challenge is an opportunity to sharpen our skills by returning to the limitations of 36 exposures and removing the option of looking at the digital camera screen. To add to the challenge, the artists only have 30 minutes each to photograph 1 model in 1 location. The final image selection is made 4 weeks later, creating a sense of anticipation as the contestants have to wait for their results.
