Iridium Records is the creative musical home of Chris Trinidad. The collection of music documented on this label grew out of a series of collaborative opportunities, of various avenues of exploration and experimentation, and of diverse musical interests. Chris has worked with a variety of interesting music makers along his own journey as a stage and studio musician. He seeks to bring together musicians with different backgrounds and varied influences on Iridium Records releases in an attempt to create some truly distinctive music. Without due regard for commercialism or convention, his latest works explore an eclectic method to music making. He uses combinatorial creativity, which remixes ideas from a multitude of contexts by drawing on a range of human inspiration, life experiences, and artistic approaches to engage new possibilities and encourage new outcomes while emphasizing process over product.
