Hi! I'm a 3D Environment Artist. I've worked on GTA6, GTA5 & RDR 2 during a 12 year period at Rockstar Games. I've also worked at Traveller's Tales and Bizarre Creations. On this channel I'll be exploring the landscapes of games that have what I consider great environment art. Expect lots of game dev process chat, art analysis, scrutinisation of materials, lighting effects, world features and viewpoints. Whenever possible I avoid UI elements popping up, combat and story. It's all about the environment art! I make these videos because this is how I like to play games; not for combat or puzzle solving or whatever, but to experience alternate worlds and to appreciate and analyse how other environment artists have worked their magic. This is a chance to ignore quest imperatives and take in the world at our leisure with a peaceful vibe; put down your baggage for a wee while and chill 😌.
