Welcome to Merrydowns, our beautiful heritage farm located a mile into the forest and surrounded by thousands of acres of a Wildlife Sanctuary. We are husband and wife, Jenny and Mathew, doing our best to live the "good life" through simple, old-fashioned living in the rural countryside. We invite you to follow our journey as we work hard to reinvigorate this historic 65-acre, sequestered property including renovations on the 1882 farmhouse and 1769 barn. We do everything ourselves from homesteading, building construction, land management, gardening, interior decorating - and most importantly of all, caring for a menagerie of rescue animals.
