I play games sometimes, and if it's one I particularly like, I sometimes go through the trouble of editing and uploading the footage. It's usually not planned - just playing for my own enjoyment and deciding to upload later - so I'm usually not recording commentary at the time, and adding it on-screen in post. If that's not your thing, cool. If you like that stuff, I try to include extra treats in edits and make sure the gameplay looks entertaining (since I'm playing for actual fun and love of the game, and not what gets clicks and views). Every vid description is a personalized "director's commentary" to the viewer - not some standard SEO crap.
